Liability Guests should note that Sailing & Snorkelling can be a dangerous activities and while our crew will make every effort to ensure guest safety, we cannot be accountable for actions of guests that are beyond our control. Guests will be required to complete a pre departure questionnaire & sign a travel agreement during the check-in process.

The Operators have the applicable Shipowners insurance to cover public liability for our guests and staff. A Copy of the certificateswill be forwarded if required. In the unlikely case of a vessel break down, we reserve the right to provide an alternative vessel of a similar standard.

Travel Insurance The Operator strongly recommends that guestshave their own travel insurance to cover valuable items, eg. Cameras, and to protect themselves against unforseen late cancellations, delays in arrival to Airlie Beach which lead to missing a departure, or medical conditions that may occur during carriage, and the associated extra costs of accessing medical care around the islands.

Guest Behavior The Operator has the right to refuse boarding of guests who arrive intoxicated or who are under the influence of illegal substances. Further, guests are to observe instructions or directions as provided by the Captain or Crew. Where guests refuse to follow instructions and where guest or crew safety may be compromised, the Captain may take action to have the offending guests removed from the vessel, at their cost

What to Bring We trust you will appreciate that you need to limit the amount of luggage you take on board and recommend soft sided luggage. We suggest: swimmers, beach towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera, spare film, sandals or joggers for island walks, favourite music CDs, a sweater for cooler evenings. If you have larger luggage that you would like to store, storage facilities are available at most accommodation houses in Airlie Beach or there is a store across the road from our check in office. Whitsunday Magic guests can bring larger bags.

Itineraries The Operator reserves the right to alter the tour or the itinerary of any of it's tours and organise alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. The Operator will always consider the comfort and safety of guests and staff and as a result, some of the Whitsunday Icons may not be visited if the wind or tidal conditions are not suitable. Where winds are in excess of 15 knots, it is possible that the Whitsunday Magic Reef Itinerary will stay around the islands, because of uncomfortable sea conditions for the guests

Beverages Solway Lass and Whitsunday Magic are licensed and sell alcohol and refreshments. On all other vessels you are welcome to bring your own.
