It’s a short walk from the coach terminal to the check-in offices and tour based accommodation. The Welcome Pack which includes transfers from both Hamilton Island and Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport to Airlie Beach is available.

Check In Our Awesome office is open from 7:00am until 8pm daily for check in on arrival in Airlie Beach. If your arrival into Airlie Beach is after closing please check your travel voucher for contact details to discuss late check in arrangements.

Prices All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Prices include: Cruises, vessel transfers, accommodation and some meals as stated in each package. Courtesy bus transfers from local accommodation to/from the Marina. All Marine & National Park fees applicable.

Booking Conditions These packages are not available with any other promotional offer. The order in which the trips are taken may be altered subject to availability.
Awesome Adventures OZ reserves the right to alter prices, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport, itineraries and services when necessary.
In the interest of passenger safety departures and itineraries are subject to sea and weather conditions. Should the company be forced to cancel or alter cruises our liability is limited to offering an alternative or appropriate refund no greater than the fare paid.

Cancellations If within 12 hours 25%. No show 100%. Transfer to another Awesome Adventures OZ adventure no fee if outside 12 hours notice. If a cancellation fee is imposed by the property, Awesome Adventures reserves the right to pass this on.

Liability The company shall not be held responsible for any property loss or damage and/or any claim resulting from personal injury or death arising whilst travelling with the company, participating in activities, on the vessel or pontoon or other company property. This disclaimer applies irrespective of the cause.
Where another company or persons operate the service such as overnight sailing, Cool Dingo Tour, accommodation, diving and helicopter flights, Awesome Adventures OZ is acting only as a Sales Agent. Responsibility and liability for the operation lies with that operator.
Age and medical restrictions apply to diving and Seawalker activities. A medical questionnaire must be completed. Due to altitude restrictions certified divers cannot fly after diving.

Southern Cross & Tall Ship Sailing

Check In Our Airlie Beach office (4 The Esplanade) is open daily from 7.30am until 8.15pm for check in prior to departure.
3D/2N or 2D/1N racing/maxis departing at 9.30am or 8.30am are asked to check in the day before departure.
2D/2N Boomerang or British Defender tour departing at 2pm are asked to check in by 11.30am on the day of departure. 3D/3N Solway Lass tours departing at 7.30pm Saturday or Tuesday are asked to check in by 4pm on the day of departure.
3D/3N Reef or 6D/6N Island & Reef cruise departing Friday afternoon on Whitsunday Magic should check in for a trip briefing by 1.30pm. 3D/3N Island Cruise, departing Tuesday afternoon on Whitsunday Magic should check in for a trip briefing by 12.30pm. Boarding at Hamilton Island also available - approx. 11.15am.

Prices All prices are in Australian dollars, include GST and valid until 31 March 2009.
Prices include: Courtesy bus transfers from local accommodation or office to the Marina, all meals, tea and coffee, use of snorkelling gear, bed linen and bath towel.
Additional charges due: Great Barrier Reef EMC $4.50, Queensland National Parks $1.35, Fuel Levy Admin/Collection fees $4.15, up to a maximum of $30 for 3 days or longer. Wet Suits for hire at $5 per
day. Payable at check in. Scuba Diving (optional – paid on board).

Cancellations Between booking and 14 days of departure will result in loss of deposit. Between 14 Days and 72 hours of departure,
loss of 50% of trip price. Inside 72 hours before departure will result in forfeit of full trip fees. We recommend Travel Insurance is purchased to protect against unforeseen late cancellations.

Liability Guests should note that Sailing can be a dangerous activity and while our crew will make every effort to ensure guest safety, we cannot be accountable for actions of guests that are beyond our control. Guests will be required to complete a predeparture questionnaire, and sign a travel agreement during the check-in process. Southern Cross Sailing Adventures & Australian Tall Ships Cruises has the applicable shipowners insurance to cover public liability for our guests and staff.

In the unlikely case of a vessel break down, we reserve the right to provide an alternative vessel of a similar standard.

Itineraries may be effected by wind, tide, rain, storm or the Skipper’s professional judgement to keep our guests and crew safe.
Please note the Scuba Diving is operated by a specialist dive company. On the very odd occasion the dive boat may not meet up with us, so we cannot absolutely guarantee the dive option on every trip.

What to Bring We trust you will appreciate that you need to limit the amount of luggage you take on board and recommend soft sided luggage. We suggest: swimmers, beach towel, sunscreen, hat,
sunglasses, camera, spare film, sandals or joggers for island walks, favourite music CDs, a sweater for cooler evenings. If you have larger luggage that you would like to store, storage facilities are available
at most accommodation houses in Airlie Beach or there is a store across the road from our check in office. Whitsunday Magic guests can bring larger bags.

Beverages Solway Lass and Whitsunday Magic are licensed and sell a variety of alcohol and refreshments. On all other vessels you are welcome to bring your own.

Cool Dingo

Valid until 31 March, 2009. Subject to change, conditions apply. Itinerary may change due to seasons, tides and prevailing weather conditions. All rates are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.
Fraser Island Cool Dingo Tour excludes National Park Permit Levy, payable direct on arrival, $16-$24 depending on duration.
