These traditional sailing vessels offer more room, greater stability and more relaxed but equally fantastic days at sea meandering amongst the many stunning islands, beaches and bays. Each day will offer different places, different experiences. On board you can participate in the actual sailing as little or as much as you please. Our crew are all experienced at sailing these unique vessels and have a passion for them. Join the crew to hoist the sails and take the helm if you wish.The Whitsundays is world renowned as a sailing playground for good reason. There are 74 islands set in the crystal clear waters of the Coral Sea on the fringe of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Many of the islands are themselves a part of the Whitsundays National Park, deemed so because of their unique attractions. There are many smooth water bays and coves in the Whitsundays so overnight anchorages are generally calm and pleasant for sleeping. |
Your Itinerary
On your sailing experience you’ll get to enjoy the best the Whitsundays has to offer – visiting secluded bays and stunning beaches, island bushwalks, snorkelling on fringing reef with diverse and colourful fish life. We give our skippers the freedom to take you on the itinerary best suited to the prevailing conditions but they’ll do their best to get you to the icons such as Whitehaven Beach conditions permitting. Rest assured wherever Mother Nature helps take you in the Whitsundays you’ll have a magical time.
On the “Outer Reef & Island Experience” if conditions are kind to us we head on out to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park for a spectacular day at Bait Reef and return to an island anchorage at night.
Catering
All this salt air and activity makes for a big appetite so you’ll be pleased to know our meals are all hearty and substantial. Our crew will prepare all meals on board – that’s breakfast, morning & afternoon tea, lunch, pre-dinner snacks & a hot evening meal. (Special diets catered for when advised.
