Solway LassWith an overall length of 127ft & 100ft on deck, Solway Lass is the largest Tall Ship sailing the Whitsunday Islands. Built in Holland in 1902, of German blue steel. Major works keep this world famous Tall Ship presented in beautiful condition. In 1999 eleven new guest cabins were built to cater for Whitsunday Island cruises. The history of Solway Lass is amazing, serving in both World Wars, carrying cargo in the Baltic & North Seas until the early 1970’s, then in Fiji. Next Sydney for the 1980/90’s as Sydney’s Tall Ship, including the 1988 1st Fleet re-enactment. Maximum of 32 guests.

Whitsunday MagicWith an overall length of 135ft and 115ft on deck, Whitsunday Magic is the largest vessel sailing the Whitsundays and Outer Barrier Reef. Whitsunday Magic is a Deluxe Mediterranean style Schooner. Features include 18 private guest cabins, all with toilet, handbasin and shower, air conditioned with individual climate control and opening port holes. Air conditioned dining room and bar, aft shaded deck with tables/chairs, large upper sunbaking observation deck. Glass bottom boat for coral viewing tours. Maximum of 38 guests

Ron Of ArgyllRon of Argyll is a beautiful classic gaff rigged topsail ketch steeped in history and romance. The yacht was commissioned by Colonel Charles Spencer and built in Scotland of Teak and Mahogany in 1928. During the early days, King George V was a regular crew member on sailing trips along the coast of Scotland. Over the years Ron of Argyll has had many guests however most possibly the most famous was Marilyn Monroe, during the time spent in Antigua. |
