Kingfisher Bay’s guided Cool Dingo Tour gives you the best of both worlds – action-packed days discovering all the wonders of World Heritage Fraser Island and fun nights enjoying great meals and partying in the Dingo Bar.

Marvel at Basin Lake, trek through ancient rainforest, swim in Lake McKenzie’s crystal-clear waters, drive along 75-Mile Beach, take a dip in the fresh waters of Eli Creek, swim in Champagne Pools, climb to the top of Indian Head or visit the emerald-green Lake Wabby. At night you’ll sleep in the Wilderness Lodge, set in a eucalypt forest. Lodges have five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open lounge area. Tours depart at 8.45am daily from Hervey Bay. For a quick getaway ex Brisbane, the Cool Dingo 2 Day Tour is available with extra nights to connect with coach transfers. Includes dinner and breakfast on extra nights but lunch is not included on arrival and departure days. Please ask your travel advisor for more details.

How to get there

By Air - Virgin and Jetstar Airlines operate direct flights from Sydney to the Fraser Coast. Sunshine Express operates daily from Brisbane to the Fraser Coast. Coach transfers are available between Hervey Bay Airport and Urangan Boat Harbour $7pp each way (must be pre-booked with reservations).

By Coach - coach operators have several daily services to / from Hervey Bay.

Self Drive - approx 4 hours from Brisbane Airport. Travel north on the Bruce Highway to Maryborough then follow signs to Hervey Bay. Travelling south from the Whitsundays the drive takes approx 10 hours.
